Minor deal between the Jets and Oilers.

Jets give Petan an opportunity to start fresh with a new organization and Kasian comes to the Jets to add some physical presence. After seeing Scheif and Wheeler take a number of bumps over the past few games, Kasian will be just what the doctor ordered. Another option may be Sens forward Z. Smith?

The Jets would be better off to package Petan with other players and draft picks to obtain a player that could make a difference for the playoffs, or players/ draft choices for the future.

I agree with Islandjet, the Jets would be better off using Petan in a package to get something they need. Instead of just a different guy to sit in the press box.

Kassian went nuts last night. Lucic looked a little disgusted. He should be disgusted with his own play and worry less about what Kassian is doing. At minimal it’s entertaining. At least I got a kick out of seeing the replay this morning. Lol.
