Scheifele would be the Leafs #1 center as Matthews is always hurt and Tavares is an over payed, soft, -40 plus/ minus center who has no credibility in the playoffs, so he fits in well on the Leafs.

Well you're wrong about that. Kadri would have zero shot at being a 2C on the Jets. Without prime PP time this year he has come back down to earth and isn't a good enough playmaker to get a shot with Laine and Ehlers. Little seems to have bounced back from a down year and Kadri isn't as good a shut down center as Lowry, so he'd be a 4th liner.

I’ve been on this site for over 5 years and never has anyone bashed Tavares, until he becomes a leaf. Islandjet, you must be feeling a little more comfortable with your teams position now? You weren’t running your mouth at the beginning of the year.

Ehlers and Laine don't need a playmaker. They need a defensive dynamo who isn't an anchor offensively to get out of their own end.

Kadri has come down to earth because he plays on the 3rd line when Matthews is in the lineup. Take a look how he’s doing since moving up to 2C. Little has had a decent career playing above his skill level, just as Bozak did in Toronto. Kadri 4th center in Winnipeg, lol. Welcome back Jets fans.
