If Weber comes back to play in the next few weeks(huge if but the fact he's traveling with the team gives us a little hope) should mtl consider trading Petry? If so would leads accept this:

Mtl: Petry, Fleury,Sherback,2rd 2019, Primeau

Tor: Nylander(unsigned)

At 5.5 million for a 28 year old RHD I would think Petry would hold a decent amount of value no?

Jeff Petrys 31 in a few weeks, not 28. Scherbak doesn’t really excite me, not sure of the value of the other 2 prospects at all. But no team will take Nylander unsigned. They wouldn’t take the risk for one, and leafs would want a deal done to maximize their return.

Petry is 30 years old. He’s off to a good start this year. Doesn’t fit any of Leafs long term plans though, and the rest of the guys seem like random throw-ins to rid Montreal of some excess baggage they don’t want.

Leafs pass.

Fleury is a good prospect tho. And Petry fits the needs for Leafs short term. 2 rd pick is good to have. I think Dubas at the very least considers.

Fleury and primeau are both two real good prospects but it doesn't matter leafs won't trade him to the habs anyway.

Too much for nylander. if Toronto doesn't want to pay him as a high end player then they can't expect to trade him like he is.
