Yeah I echo the above sentiments. Toronto keeps willy if he is willing to sign for 7 or less and that's a pretty hefty package from the flames.

I like Brodie, but he’s only got two years left until he’s UFA, and I have a hard time seeing how he would fit in to Leafs long term plans. We would basically be forced to flip him next year. I think if Leafs trade Nylander, they will continue to pursue younger players with upside potential tgat will be controllable for many years. In the case of Calgary, Valimaki or Hanifin would be the target.

Mylenader would have been in a Leafs jersey by now for that $. And this is too much from Calgary.

Im a flames fan. Brodie is top 4 LHD, Jankowski is a 3C at best, Kylington is a decent prospect and the 1st is decent. For a 1st line forward. I think its fair.
