Nashville Trades: Dante Fabbro [Unsigned] + Miikka Salomaki [0.750 Million x 2 Years] + 2019 1st Round Draft Selection.
NY Rangers Trade: Mats Zuccarello [4.500 Million x 1 Year] + Kevin Hayes [5.300 Million x 1 Year (50% Retention Additionally) ] + 2020 3rd Round Draft Selection.

- Nashville goes 'all-in' acquiring two of the best UFA's on the market. They can afford to part with Fabbro since they have all of their top four locked-up longterm. Strengthen up their depth as well.
- New York packages both of their best trade assets for two solid pieces, a 1st, and a young dman who simply, most likely won't have a place on a currently all-in Predators team. Fabbro helps with New York's lackluster defensive prospect pool, and an additional first is always welcome.

Forsberg - Johansen - Zuccarello
Hayes - Turris - Fiala
Jarnkrok - Bonino - Smith

Arvidsson? 😱 as for the trade I think Nashville should keep Fabbro or the first and only go after one of the two players. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I think NYR can get more for those two guys. If you trade them each to different teams, should be worth combined a couple first round picks plus prospect players. You’re not exactly robbing NYR grave here, but you aren’t exactly handing them the key to a rebuild either: Fabbro is a question mark still, Salomaki is junk, and the 1st will likely be a mid 20’s pick. It’s more like a chevette than a corvette for NYR, if you see what I’m saying.
