If Montreal doesn’t want to pay Patches 7x7 like was reported, they definitely don’t want okposos 5years at $6 mill coming back.

you're right jim, they wouldn't want a similar player on a better contract. can't argue with that.

Okposo is not at all similar to Patch different caliber and styles.

He’s a power forward with almost as big of contract as paccioretty wants and a massive health scare last year. And not a broken bone type thing, had head problems and was in intensive care in very rough shape. For a team that should be rebuilding and getting younger, committing to okposo seems counterproductive.

Mtl would need to gain an asset in order to take Okposo's contract. I would definitely consider acquiring him if it means getting a a couple picks and maybe a decent prospect. Mtl would get some offense from Okposo even if it's at a steep price plus they would be getting good peaces I would hope. I wouldn't trade anything to get him tho or even get him and only get late picks. Need something of quality to take him imo. Still has more value then Bobby Ryan tho lol.
