I don’t think leafs signed him to flip him into a 4th. If he goes through camp, doesn’t make the team or doesn’t show he could help the team in an emergency, I’m sure they would be happy to get a pick and move on. But they signed him as an option for the most needed position. I’m sure they want to atleast see him through a camp first. Also he was a UFA who signed for league minimum a week ago. If there was ANY mutual interest between him and Nashville they would already have him.
