With the Flyers definitely out of the Tavares sweepstakes and Tampa Bay being a realistic, albeit less likely possibility, Hextall could take on a toxic contract that ends in 2018 to continue to build his prospect pool:

Philadelphia: Raddysh, Coburn (cap dump), 2019 3rd
Tampa Bay: Rights to Hagg

Tampa gets cap flexibility to sign Tavares and gets a young NHL defenceman with a ceiling of a #4. Philadelphia takes an inflated contract and firms up their RW prospect pool.

***This trade is conditional on Tavares indicating to Yzerman that he wants to sign in Tampa.

Kulikovs contract isn't that bad (if he can stop getting injured) especially with enstrom gone.
