Why wouldn't he wave to go and possibly line up next to McDavid.?
Could be a 40 goal plus guy for years.
Also. Yup, What is with Yupp?

Skinner would waive to play with McDavid. Who wouldnt?! Edmonton is an awesome team. i'm from edmonton and i love how passionate their fans are. Ocasionally i get insulted by people driving by from wearing a calgary jersey lol love how competitive edmonton is. Hands down one of the best hockey cities.

Being from Edmonton I’m sure clouds your judgement a little Billy. There are many teams with very passionate fans. There is also more to a players decision than playing with McDavid. By the way, they’ve proven year after year that they’re not an awesome team. They may be one day with the collection of high end picks. Think of how ridiculous I’d sound if I said the leafs were awesome.

Why would Carolina give one of the most coveted rhd available on the market and take back one of the worst contracts in the league?

There is reports he is only willing to play on 7 teams and I highly doubt Edmonton is one of them he already vetoed 3 trades and you guys obviously have never seen Skinner play he is not a complimentary player he almost never uses his line mates as a result he’s below average on the PP. he try’s to do it him self a lot and holds the puck for to long at times. He has tremendous skill but he would not play with McDavid or Drais he’d hurt that line more then he’d help.

Having lived all over Canada, I would say that Montreal fans are pretty fair-weather. They don't show up in full support when the team is lousy. This can be a positive as well because it lights a fire under the owners to right the ship when the team stinks.

Leafs fans support the team no matter how poor the on-ice product is and how inept management may be. Arguably the most loyal, but it helped breed years of terrible teams teams because owners were still making money hand over fist.

Edmonton fans are great and supportive, but it's not like there is a ton of other fun things to do in Edmonton. Go Eskimos?

Passion is a hard thing to measure. Winnipeg has one of the loudest barns I've ever been to. Calgary in the playoffs is tough to beat too. Ottawa is pretty meh but it makes sense as it's not a huge fan base to begin with and a third of the people who live there are Leafs fans and another third are Habs fans. Pretty much a home game for those teams when those teams play in Ottawa, which is embarrassing.

And Vancouver is passionate enough to flip cars and start fires!
