The only reason Edmonton says no to that trade would be because they can’t afford to resign pacioretty.
Russel has negative value.
Rather keep juulsen over Yamamoto.
And the first would have to be ranked 8-12 For Montreal to take on russels contract.

I love how you have stone as a cap dumb but other posts I’ve seen him get a 2nd or 3rd round pick lmao.
No from montreal, no from oil, No from Montreal and no from Islanders.

Let me guess McJesus Yamamoto is a future 40 goal player he should get Kucherov + and that 1st is worth Josi because that’s a future franchise player smh I think you’re more bias then Rambo.

Yamamoto was the biggest steal last year? IF he was bigger he would have been gone in top 5.

No from Oil on the Patches trade, really?

Julsen> Yamamoto

RHD is a premium in this league and Julsen is better then Yamamoto comon. Then a late first rd and a cap dump in Russel? U for real bro Edm takes that and run.

Edmonton takes that and runs IF they want Patches. If not then teams would easily beat out that package.

@SWECHAMP, how do you know Yamamotos the biggest steal of a draft that’s 12 months old and no one outside a handful of players near the top have done anything in the NHL?

Liljegren at 17th who was the youngest player in the AHL this season and played top 4 minutes on a championship team?

Morgan Frost at 27th who put up 112 pts in 67 games plus 29 pts in the playoffs taking his team to the OHL final?

Or Eeli Tolvanen at 30th who was dominating in the KHL at 18 and will be an everyday player on a cup contender in October?

What makes yamamoto at 22nd more of a steal than any of those players besides he wears blue and orange?! A 1.6 points per game in the CHL is impressive, but other guys went in that same first round were better than him in the CHL this year and a few guys played huge roles on championship teams in pro hockey around the world. Stop the homer garbage.

Eeli Tolovanen seems like the streal of the draft as of now.
