Not a chance lol marner on his own for Karlsson wouldn’t do it, but wouldn’t be that far off. Then add last years 1st, this years 1st, a b prospect and another pick haha where do you think Ottawa’s bargaining power comes from? He’s a great player, with one year left and has said he doesn’t want to be there.

Agreed Marner is a Potential 100 Point player on a ELC who may be the most promising U25 winger in the NHL along with Kucherov, Pasternak and Guadreau.

Yeah don't see the Leafs doing this.

I think the Sens are better off extending Karlsson at this point. The return is not going to meet Dorion's/ Senators fans expectations, and given that Colorado now owns their 2019 first pick he's worth more to Ottawa than he is to any other teams.

He’s not going to extend there lol he has literally said he’s had enough of Ottawa. he's done next year. They can trade him with a year left, get a roster player and a top prospect/ pick or they can have him play next year for them hating every second of it and have him leave for nothing just to spite them for not trading him now.
