In my opinion both need a change of scenery.

Svechnikov looked like a real promising prospect for some time in Detroit, but didn't play well at all for the past season. He did score 20 goals in his first AHL season as a 19 year old.

Fleury jumped into the NHL this year but as a bottom six defender and didn't look all that well.
68 games played and only 8 points.
He will get much more playing time in Detroit if Mike Green decides to go somewhere else.

Also, the Svech brothers will be reunited.
