So i've seen many trades on here so I figured I'll give it a go

EDM- leon draisaitl, 10th OVA

MTL- 3rd OVA, max pacioretty

Tell me your thoughts on this as EDM needs wingers who can score so getting one of the 3 in the draft will help and Pacioretty is one of the best scoring wingers in the league and MTL needs a young top 6 center and still picks in the top 10 to get a good prospect

Difference between draisatl and patches is more than moving up those spots. Patches is 7 years older, has 1 year left and is coming off the worst year of his career. I don’t believe habs trade him right now, just because his value is awful compared to how good he has been over the last 4-5 years.

Thanks for the input first time I've seen someone give a calm reasonable opinion instead of typing oh that's bias because this player is so much better then that or trash a player like max pacioretty for an off year. ( a person said him and bobby Ryan have the same trad value)

Lol, very true, not often do you get a calm calculated response from people on this site.
Being a habs fan, i'd love it. But EDM wouldn't go for it. I'm not sure what it would take to get Drais out of there, but i don't think the habs have the assets to do it.

Let's rationalize it,

Patches (29) who has never got over 70 points in a season, who (regardless of last season) is going to decline more than improve. Has 1 year left on contract.

Draisaitl (22) has put up over 70 points in 2 of his first 4 years in the league. Who has 7 years of team control left. Plus he may not have reached his full potential yet.

Edmonton isn't really all that interested in moving up at the draft because based on their current lineup need an NHL ready player vs a player who may take 2 to 3 years to crack the roster.

would love to see what patches would do with a real 1a center, like mcdavid, many thing patches could hit 50 goals, but here's a thought, montreal may not trade patches, at all, before they know what happens with JT if and I say IF JT comes to montreal, THAT may be one of the condition, patches is still part of the team, if
montreal must draft tkachuk, i suspect patch is patch of the retool, and JT has strong intention of sign with montreal, iF ZADINA, I think that pat brisson indirectly informed his good friend MB, john is sign else where and patch will be on the move.
