Actually NOPE the Canucks already had the 3rd overall pick to take one of the sedins. Then Burke traded Bryan McCabe and their first rounder for the next year to Chicago for 4th overall, then traded that 4th overall and 2 3rds for 1st overall. Then swapped 1st for 2nd overall and a conditional 3rd.

So.
Your thought - they traded 3 -2nd round picks and 2 -4th round picks for both sedins

But.
Reality is they traded 24 year old Bryan McCabe, a 1st round pick and two third round picks for ONE Sedin lol.
