Lots of fits for cgy and tor to make a deal, here are some options, and i'm not saying these teams would make these trades, i'm just examining value:

Cgy: trades stone
Tor: trades johnsson

Cgy: trades brodie + lazar
Tor: trades brown + kapanen

Cgy: trades brodie + stone
Tor: 1 of nylander or marner

Cgy: trades giordano
Tor: trades 1 of marner or nylander

Cgy: trades hamilton
Tor: trades 1 of marner or nylander + kapanen

I’d do brown and a 2nd for Brodie but his value is extremely low at this point.

All great for flames, most awful for leafs. Marner for Gio? Haha i like gio, but he’s old and marner had an insane second half of the season and a great playoff series, regardless how the team faired. He’s 20 years old with a 60 pt and nearly 70 pt season on him. No way lol.

1st. Seems fair.

2nd. Tor adds a bit.

3rd. Close bit CGY probably adds a bit.

4th. Gio had another Norris worthy season but is a little older but with a late start to pro. Close but TOR adds a bit.

5th. TOR adds a high pick; probably a 2nd or low 1st. Hamilton was the highest scoring Dman in the league and has improved #’s every year with a great contract.
