Nice try. Florida isn't trading their 1st for one year of Pacioretty.

-Its so easy to sign Pacioretty right away (~7,5m/ 5-6 years) . He's going to be in love with Florida after all the big pressure of Mtl.

-Plekanec would be a realy nice addition as a third line center with experience but also realy good for defensive mission like 5 on 4.

-Lehkonen have a good potential. He's a realy good two way player with a good wrist shot.

-Bjugstad is a big center, still young who score around 20-25 goals. But never develop as he was suppose to.

-Borgstrom is the big piece of that trade. He have a lot of potential, he have good hand and he's able to score but still he proved nothing yet in the Nhl.

-The first choice with the second 2018 Florida receive is nothing for Pacioretty. The only piece Florida lose in the line up is Bjugstad.

And look at the Florida lines.

Huberdeau-Barkov-Dadonov
Pacioretty-Trocheck-Malgin
Mccann-Plekanec-Lehkonen
Mcginn-Mackenzie-Sceviour

-Look realy good for the final push and next years! No?

-Mtl have what they crucialy need, depth at the center position.

I want Montreal to keep lehkonen. He’s got lots of potential just hasn’t been able to find a groove with injuries and the lack of offensive centers.

I agree! But you have to give if you went a good center and everybody know that Mtl need center, so.
Anyway mtl have a lot of wingers and I have more hope in Hudon or Sherback for there offensive potentiel than Lehkonen who's more defensive and need to improve offensive. Also Lehkonen have a better value I think.
