The only imaginable way Marner is headed to Calgary is in a deal involving Dougie Hamilton. So basically it’s not happening.

Yeah I would take tkachuk for marner straight up. He just does so much more than Mitch but may not have to same ceiling in pts. But I think he could help you win in other ways that marner never will. Can’t go wrong with either of them.

I agree that package likely wouldn’t get Marner but the 2 other replies are worse. Seriously, Hamilton, a 6’4” excellent skating D with a great offensive game and now so much better with his D game as well for a smaller guy with 12 goals. yea that’s a good idea. Pfft. And Tkachuk does so much more and also has great potential to put up more points. Leafs would have to add there for sure.
