Ottawa- Schneider, bratt, 2nd round

New Jersey- Karlsson

Logic: I do not believe Karlsson is going anywhere but sports analysts like to talk and they have been talking a Karlsson trade and if it happened this would be the trade to make- it's likely Anderssons last season and Schneider is only 31 and could give Ottawa another 6-7 years of good goaltending, bratt is a overachieving 6th rounder who has 29 points in 43 games which is on pace for almost 60 points in his rookie season and the 2nd rounder would be good for ottawas young depth and giving away Karlsson will hurt a lot less with this trade dedicating to a rebuild but most of the pieces are already there so they can be back and running in 2-3 years with 3 years left of Schneider

If Karlsson isn't that keen on resigning, I'd take the deal. Schneider is a hell of a goalie and greatly, greatly underestimated. With Anderson aging I think it could be very beneficial for the Sens.

People, were talking about a 2 time norris trophy defenceman here, not a 3rd line guy. Lol, schneider is not an elite goaltender by any means. Karlsson is an elite player, and there's no way that ottawa even considers accepting that little for Karlsson. Might as well pay for what the kid wants

Lmao what is this trade 😂. A top 3 player in the world for a debatable top 10 goalie ok player with top 6 potential and a 2nd? Ottawa’s management is a mess but not this much.

The trade isn’t close to enough substance for a team to trade a superstar. I get the needs of a good goalie, but there has to be something that makes it so they can’t say no. got to have at least a top prospect, a 1st round pick, maybe another conditional 1st.

However, saying Schneider is not an elite goalie is pretty soft too lol he’s an insanely good goalie who stands on his head for the devils. He’s not exactly playing behind the stingy NJ devils of the 90s and 2000s with hall of fame defense.
