The Sharks have informed other GMs that Paul Martin is available for trade. $4.85M per and 2 more years left after this one.
He has only played 3 games due to injury.

I think Sharks would have to retain some salary. he's not worth much anymore. .

Agreed. He is likely to go to a bottom team that is rebuilding and come with a nice pick for thier trouble.
