ANA: Kevin Bieksa (4mil), Max Jones (894K), 2018 1st round pick, and 2018 3rd round pick (NJ or ANA whatever better) .

MTR: Max Pacioretty (4.5 mil), David Schlemko (2.1 mil), and 2018 5th round pick.

Canadiens are apparently looking for an A ranked forward prospect and a 1st for Patches, I don't believe he warrants that for the season he is having. Max Jones is a B prospect who projects to at least be a top 9 forward with good goal scoring/ finishing abilities. Haps also get a couple picks.

The Ducks need another scoring wing with Perry's terrible year (6 goals in 32 games) and Eaves' medical condition. Also trading Bieksa for Schlemko gives them a bottom pairing D-man with term on cheap for the foreseeable future and a little more space to add one more piece to make a playoff run.

Like Bergevin said MTL try to reset and not rebuild, they try trade player for great young NHL player and not pick or prospect.
