I've been a fan of Kapanen for a while. Seems like he's getting a little blocked out by depth on the Leafs. Similar situation with Morin on the Flyers so how bout this deal

TOR: Kapanen

PHI: Morin and a 3rd round pick

Or if Philly doesn't wanna give up youth and Toronto would prefer right handed d-men

TOR: Kapanen

PHI: Gudas, 2nd round pick, 4th round pick, Laberge

I ain't going to deny it. I often lowball without noticing because I'm a biased fan so please tell me any changes I should make

If Morun would be traded it wouldn't be for Kapanen, it would be for a guy like Marner. I think you're valuing Kapanen a little high in both trades.

First one isn’t bad, but I’d rather keep kapanen. Leafs have D prospects and also have 3 UFA forwards in bozak, JVR and komarov. More important to have kappy here to take one of those spots full time in October than add another Unproven D.

No desire for Gudas at all. He’s a weapon out there. We have Polak who plays hard and has the odd questionable hit, but stays on the right side of the line most of the time. Gudas just crosses the line by miles too often. Can’t respect a guy that doesn’t respect anyone else.

Morin for marner?! I don’t think anyone makes that trade. John Ferguson Jr doesn’t even touch that one. Morin May just be taking some time to come into his own, but he’s not blowing anyone away in 4 years since being drafted. Marner has a 60 pt season under his belt before he’s 20, and on his way to another. Not even close. Leafs would trade marner in a package for A number one proven D, or maybe for a similar age guy with the potential to be a star like hanifin or something. But not for a project like Morin.

I’d anything the first trade isn’t too bad.

Marner for Morin and Provonov maybe lol but seriously Marner has Elite 80+ point potential and like Jim said he is already a proven 60+ point player who teams set game plans against. Meanwhile Morin is A. Older B. Lower potential and C. not even a current NHL player. There is a chance he won’t even make the nhl full time. Just a stupid comment.

Nylander really? Looool

Flamers, I’m pretty sure nylander was kidding with the Morin and provorov comment. But what he says after that makes sense. The original offer of kapanen and Morin isn’t bad, but saying marner for Morin is the equivalent of leafs saying kapanen for provorov.

Ya but Marner doesn't seem like a player that can be a 80+ player. Especially if you're playing him on the fourth line

Someone stated.

Toronto has employed some of the dirtiest players to ever play the game, and were talking respect for others? that's some funny stuff there.
