Ottawa not going to want to pay for him next year mark stone

Canucks Sven baertschi kole Lind

Ottawa Mark stone

17 Dec 2017 08:57:17
Ottawa says no, much better offers would come if stone was in fact available.

2.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 12:41:50
Lol. yes. we do want to sign him . loool. and huge no from sens. Stone is an Elite 200 foot player.

3.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 15:19:02
Guys, this guy is definitely high. Stone is the best forward for Ottawa. Start with Boeser and add from there

4.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 15:20:45
Don’t think he meant hockey wise they won’t want him. I think he meant that when he’s due for a raise and the teams owner comes out and says fans don’t support the team, he's losing money and cutting player salaries is going to be his attempted solution, I can see a guy like stone being traded too.

5.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 17:13:12
But why would Ottawa trade Stone. he's part of their core, and aren't looking for a rebuild yet. The team has won 2 in a row, and stone is playing fantastic with Ryan and Duchene. Why would you seperate them even more?

6.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 17:59:07
Okay. even if we were to trade him. we could get wayyyyy more than Baertschi and Lind. jesus . Stone has been the Sens best and most consistent player. Yes better than Karlsson.

7.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 18:46:34
Lol maybe they add a 4 rd pick but baertschi can still put 25 goals a season there getting a level prospects Lind almost made team Canada with mono.

8.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 19:17:56
Sven Baetschi never had a 25 goal season. For the past 3 seasons, mark stone had over 23 goals and is looking to get 30 goals this season. He leads the league in steals for the past 2 years and when he was in juniors, not only did he make team canada but dominated the game as well. Add 2 first round picks minimum lol.

9.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 21:02:56
I agree 100% with hoff68 on this one, no way what so ever stone gets moved he's the best all round forward ottawa has had in years. he should be marked as untouchable if he isn't already. Hoffman would even be slated to be moved before they even thought of moving stone.

10.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 21:48:37
Lol if you want Brock we won't karlson +.

11.) 17 Dec 2017
17 Dec 2017 22:18:21
Junior doesn’t mean anything bud.

12.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 00:12:25
Start with Boeser then add from there for Stone?
I'm a big fan of Stones but Boeser has more value than Stone straight up right now. Come on man.

13.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 00:17:29
Ok chill high290, Karlsson has a lot more value than Brock Boeser any day of the week. Was brock able to carry the canucks to the playoffs on one leg. Karlsson also won 2 norris trophies and is considered top 3 in the league. Brock is maybe top 25

14.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 00:26:54
Junior doesn’t mean anything? Haha 2 days ago Ethan bear wasn’t worth trading for mike Hoffman because his junior numbers were so good lol you are so brutally biased that you will flip what’s important by the minute as long as it always favours the oilers.

15.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 02:08:53
^Oof.

That Ethan Bear thing will never leave. y'all Oiler fans should've just admitted that Ethan Bear is a middling guy at best. now you won't hear the end of it from people like me, UB and others. Lol.

16.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 02:16:29
Boesers a stud. Not adding to that for stone lol.

17.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 02:22:54
You only hear what you wanna hear hey there Jimbo?
Bear could get Hoffman easily I said, if Edmonton already had a RH offensive D But teams needs is that they need a RHD with offensive upside and not to trade their best prospect one, one they are high on hopes for, for a winger. I think they would rather make a trade around one of their prospect wingers (Moto maybe) and add something from there. I think they are interested in Hoffman, who wouldn't be. And then would trade Maroon at deadline. I It's reported Edm and Ott have talked Hoffman, so if that trade ever happens I guess we would find out if it's Bear or not.
Don't twist my words man, Read to understand not to just respond.
Look at Mon trading their best D prospect away for a winger.

18.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 05:10:10
Well there was two of you and 4 that wouldn't have made that deal for Bear + for Hoffman. So I'm not sure why we are the ones who are never going to hear the end of it. and you just twist the words you read from me and others anyways.

19.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 05:45:09
I’m not twisting anything or changing your words. Bear could get Hoffman easily you just said in your own words lol a fifth round pick with good junior numbers can easily get a top line winger with 2 years term left in his mid to late 20s.

20.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 05:48:18
And I was saying it about mcjesus. If RHD prospect is so valuable to oilers, why is lindholm and McKeown for RNH a ‘god awful proposal’? Because anyone that wants anyone from the oilers, you two feel should pay twice what they’re worth. Because they’re such a good team as we can all see.

21.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 06:34:37
And don’t even try to compare Ethan bear to sergachev haha you can’t help yourself can you? You and mcjesus were two of the best and most reasonable guys on here for a long long time. Then the last cpl months, every time you post it’s just calling people stupid and calling their posts dumb, delusional and one sided. You two are now the worst at that. And lately, maybe it’s because the oilers haven’t been good, so you’re compensating, you are the most delusional when it comes to value of your own players. Brutal man, used to take what you said at face value and I bet a lot of others on here did too.

22.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 10:39:04
How the he'll does Ethan bear get Hoffman? that's like saying Victor mete for landeskog? And you guys think my trades are bad lol.

23.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 13:04:38
It’s a lot worse than Mete for Landy. At least Mete has proven he can play in the nhl. Bear has proven he can put up great numbers as a 19 and 20 year old playing in a league for 14-20 year olds.

24.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 13:49:36
I knew you would twist my words there again. I no way did I compare Besr to Sergachev. I compared the type of deal that would be. Trading from a place you are weak (D prospects) for a winger. I no way did I attempt to compare players there. I compared the type of trade.
Twist words, hear what you wanna hear, then bash. You really need to chill. Kinda crazy for you to go off like that.

25.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 14:57:09
Just because he’s your best prospect doesn’t mean it has the same effect on a wteam as another. If oilers traded their best centreman away (mcdavid) and montreal trades plekanec or daneault or whoever their best actual centreman is this week, it doesn’t have the same effect on a team man. And that’s the same for any position, and roster player or prospect.

26.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 15:28:22
also it’s not like it was trading from a weak spot (d prospect) to a strength (centre) . It was for a really good winger. Have you realized yet that scoring wingers is also a position of weakness on that team? So while your best players are signed, you have a few good D on the team, 2 great centres and a real good goalie when healthy, why not invest in a prime aged scorer and try to win? Going to get harder after next year. Someone will pay more than that for Evander Kane as a rental.

27.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 15:37:13
Anyway, I’ll drop it now. I’m sure other people don’t want this to go on and on any longer. I just find it funny that I gave you a hard time for 2 or 3 days and you’re sick of it already and you two have been a-holes to tens of people on here for a cpl months and never thought twice about it. Carry on all.

28.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 14:47:19
You comparing the oilers losing bear to the habs losing sergachev has to be a comparisons of the players. The habs traded sergachev after losing subban, bealieu, Markov, Emelin etc. Oilers have been bringing in D depth at a cost of Taylor hall for Larsson and bad UFA signings like russel. The effect of losing Ethan bear in Edmonton isn’t close to the effect of losing sergachev in Montreal. He’s twice the player, if not more, and they have a much bigger need there.

29.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 16:14:07
Jim, I'm not sick of it at all. Honestly.
I can take it. But you can't be twisting my words every time I comment man.

30.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 16:15:38
Im just in awe when you twist my words around to hear what you wanna hear, You're better than that man. Read to understand not twist around what you wanna hear.

31.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 16:53:33
I didn’t twist your words. You lead off that comment with “Bear could get Hoffman easily”. That’s your words exactly and it’s rediculous for anyone other than you or mcjesus.

32.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 17:48:07
Yea and I said that the other day as well. But didn't read and understand everything else I was saying.
And I never compared Bear to Sergachev here but you went off like I did. Twisting my words.

33.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 18:15:45
Okay man. You’re right. This time, last time and every time. All hail oilers. We should all be so lucky that you even allow us to speak the names of the chosen ones.

34.) 18 Dec 2017
18 Dec 2017 22:17:08
That's better. I forgive you sir. 😳.
