If Fabbris health wasnt such a concern., I would say No on Blues end. kids got a ton of talent. jus hope his health turns around, has/ had the potential to be a top goal scorer in league.

your just being hateful, lol. I don't think the blues are ready to give up on Fabbri just yet.
Simmonds would be a great addition but there are to many factors for both sides why this wouldn't work.
1) cap, fabbri makes 900k while simmonds makes 4 mil cap doesn't work.
2) Fabbri is comming off his second acl tear in same knee in two years
3) As for the 30 goal comment as a 19 year old fabbri had 18g 19a 37pts in 70 games as a rookie. simmonds as a rookie had 9g 14 a 23pts in 82 games.
To further elborate the following year before injury fabbri had 11g and 18a 29pts in 50 games he was on pace for 18g 48a 66pts. as a 20yr old sophmore so he has a lot more value then you lead on.
4) Simmonds is 29 yrs old and has one more year on his contract basically a rental. The only benifit is he is a rw and that is a need for the blues
Fabbri is cost controled RFA .
5) simmonds is on decline and Fabbri is huge? with Knee.
I personally wouldn't give up on Fabbri just yet for 1 1/ 3 years.

If the numbers you gave were right then he was on pace for 47. He’s still young and has a lot of potential and he’s going to be a good player but he hasn’t put up great numbers yet. Not as good as Simmonds at least. But if the Blues think they wanna make a run then this trade is pretty decent IMO.

Yeah must have mixed my number up. 47 pt pace 2nd year at 20. Simmons had 40 2nd year. But still fabric is younger. Don't think the blues should mortgage the future yet plus can't take on cap.
