Bob McKenzie is saying he's hearing possible talks happening between Toronto and Phoenix. OEL ha seemed to maybe expressed he won't be signing there after next season when he's an UFA. Nylander for OEL is what's mentioned by him.
Never know, It could happen. But I believe it's a true rumor that those two teams have had talks. I'm not sure if it's a rumor or suggestion Of those two names being talked.
I trust Mckenzie, Friedman, Dreger, Duthie the most in the hockey world. They are the most connected "inside". But a rumor and a suggestion are two completely different things.

Another suggestion was that Toronto and Vancouver are talking.
Possibly a Kappanen and 1st for Tanev or would a better prospect need to be.

I don't think these suggestions or tumors are far off.

Ya it's a tough one. I wouldn't either.
Even tho OEL is having a down year. It's on a rubbish team.
Only thing I would be worried about is what's his asking price when he's a UFA after next season?! I would want to have an idea of that, especially if I was to potentially give up Nylander for him.

Bob Mckenzies article went on to say that he hasn't heard of any talks. And that he doesn't think the coyotes are interested in trading oel or that Toronto is interested in trading either if the big 3.
And he also said that they wouldn't move oel for a winger which is how they view nylander.

No. He said that there are talks. Just not %100 what they are about.
Like i said. That's the rumor. And then the suggestion is it would take Nylander for OEL.
They need to trade OEL, He's not resigning there when he is a UFA after next season.
Rumors and suggestions are two different things, as I have repeadetly said.
