Monahan making almost 7 mill as your third line center? Johnny hockey makes almost 8 I believe, Duchene at 6 and Tavares at 5.75 then he gets 10+ or walks. it's not the NBA where it's a soft cap and you can build super teams. Tkachuk will need a hefty raise in a year too long.

I could agree to that Xcing however I believe they are clost in value so it started at Monahan and pretty much ends they're. Maybe a small add? Don't forget Monahan is 4 years younger and almost as good as Tavares. YES John is still ahead in terms of leadership and he is a franchise player. But age is a factor jn my opinion.

The second trademarks seems unnecessary. Why not trade for a top line RW instead of duchene?
