Calgary declines. Although he is not a sure thing, Bennett at 20 oozes potential and is very gritty. The Flames stuck with Bennett.

No thanks. if its a matter of losing Plekanec contract, itll be off the books next season. I think Gallagher ( if healthy) brings more to the table than Bennett does . And also., why would the Flames want Plekanec or McNevin, They don't need Plek and Flames have some pretty good goalie prospects coming up.

Beleiveable. I think Calgary is on the fence about Bennetts ceiling;it would be smart to atleast explore interest. I like Gallager for Bennett tho. Porier is not on as promising as years before. Bennett would be good for Mtl might even become their # 1center so there has to be more value coming to Cgy with Gallager.
