Leafs get the shutdown right d they need meanwhile dumping 2 big salaries that bring said brining back a solid third line centre in Bennett.

Flames get 2 good fowards outfront thinking jvr would fit perfect in the second lw slot meanwhile bozak would probably play third.

So, Calgary trades their top D signed for another 4 years, 20 year old 4th overall pick who is a RFA (Calgary's property) for 2 players who are 1 year from UFA and a second.

This deal is why armchair GMs never get the real job.
