I am re-posting this. I received 9 believable 19 unbelievable. Unbelievable does not indicated who needs to add or who would not accept the trade at all. Please provide as much feedback as possible. It is a small trade but championships are built on small trades:
Buffalo trades Josh Gorges (retain 50%) and 2018 2nd to Boston for Kevan Miller.
The are only 3 years difference in age 32 v 29 respectively.
Their ice time is almost identical: EvS 18:48 v 17:47 and SH 2:40 v 2:00 with Gorges getting more of each. Neither gets much PP time 1:35 and 3:14 minutes for the year respectively
Gorges cap is $3,900,000 for 1 yr, Miller is $2,500,000 for 3 yr.
Gorges does not score as much as Miller pts 6 v 13
Boston only has 2 L-D, Buffalo only has 2 R-D.

Why do you need feedback so badly? It's not that bad of a trade as you can see by the response (believables, un)

This isn't a real trade, or are you the real Tim Murray?

Idk why this means so much to you to repost it twice just to get a response.

Maybe this is how the Sabres really make trades?! Tim Murray goes on multiple forums and hopes fans will talk him out of mistakes lol.

For my honest opinion on the trade tho, Boston likes kevan Miller enough to let the much younger Colin Miller be exposed when they could only protect one of the two. They were willing to take that age gap hit for the positives in his game but don't see them taking another 3 year age hit unless it's a much better player who happens to be older. That's just not the case with josh georges.

Unbiased Jim and TB3, thank you. I want to propose trades that are equal and the only way to do that is to get the sort of feedback that you provided. From what you two are saying the trade is close but Boston would not make it. That makes perfect sense.

I only wish Tim had asked about trades, he would never have traded McNaab and 2 2nds for players who are bottom 6 forwards, He would have Spooner from Boston and Pearson from LAK. I am so glad he is gone. He took a last place team with a future and made it a last place team with no future.
