Buffalo trades Josh Gorges (retain 50%) and 2018 2nd to Boston for Kevan Miller.
The are only 3 years difference in age 32 v 29 respectively.
Their ice time is almost identical: EvS 18:48 v 17:47 and SH 2:40 v 2:00 with Gorges getting more of each. Neither gets much PP time 1:35 and 3:14 minutes for the year respectively
Gorges cap is $3,900,000 for 1 yr, Miller is $2,500,000 for 3 yr.
Gorges does not score as much as Miller pts 6 v 13
Boston only has 2 L-D, Buffalo only has 2 R-D.

Boston doesn't need more old guys on the point. They still have some vets (Chara, Krug, McQuaid) but they have a nice youth injection coming up with McCavoy, Carlo, Zboril, Lauzon etc, I don't think value if off just no from Boston/ pass on Gorges.
