Edm signs Hanzal @ 3years ×3.5AAV

They lose a center but hanzal can play second or third line center, and they get someone young to replace Sekera? Opinions?

another 2/ 3 RHC might be had for Edmonton (Bozak? ) . feel like alittle more would be needed for the Faulk deal, possibly a 2018/ 19 second, or a prospect.

Let's not be dismissive of the deal, the two are near equivalent, if Faulk is worth "a lot" more then Carolina would have been contenders already. So extra pieces on the oilers behalf are what's necessary to neutralize that big contract.

You can say that Mcjesus buy at the end of the day what he says is right it's just exaggerated a tad. But he's right RNH isn't even clost. Add to be worth Faulk especially with his contract. RNH is worth a defensemen like Mark Pysyk to give you an idea of what he's worth atm. Evevn then Oilers would need to add.

More from Edmonton. Faulk produces similar offence and I don't care how "defensive" Nuge is I'm still going to say Faulk is better defensively.

Adam Larsson is turning into one of the best defensive d-men in the league, Larsson is not the gap between Nuge and Faulk.
