Just read that three separate sources saying there's a chance Subban is traded from Nashville before the expansion draft.
And that he has said he would like to play for the Leafs closer to family and home. JVR would be a main piece involved.
Babcock and Lou were at the two recent games in Nashville too.

-It all started with Martin Leclerc from radio-Canada stating PK could be traded bt the expansion draft. The argument behind this dilemma with protecting D man as they have 4 great blue liners, PK. josh, Ekholm, Ellis.

-On friday, Ian Halperin ( a Canadian investigative journalist, writer and documentary filmmaker) added on 98.1FM that some of his sources claim PK would like to play for the Leafs and get closer to his family. KVR might be an intriguing option for the Preds, who have long needed to add offensive punchh.

-News reported by Luke Fox (from Quick Shits) stated that the Leafs and Preds were "possible" trade partners. All comes from the fact Lou Lamoniello and Babcock were spotted at games 3 and 4 in Nashville vs the Ducks. (pic added)

In all honesty, I could see Ekholm move. Not Ellis/ Subban/ Josi.

That way the Preds can get around their four dmen problem.
Maybe trade Ekholm for an inelegible player, who is ready to step in and play now, but is still inelegible to be selected by Vegas. Maybe? But nah, Subban ain't going anywhere. If he is, then wow.

But I'd say that Ekholm is expandable, partially due to the fact that the Preds have Dante Fabbro coming up, he'd be a decent top four in the future.
