After expansion draft.

M. Duchene + G. Landeskog + 3rd Round Pick to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for S. Gostisbhere + 2017 1st Round Pick (2) + M. Read + R. Gudas

Flyers then proceed to buyout Andrew MacDonald.

Flyers acquire two stud players, while trading a pick which they don't need, plus a dman who just experienced a sophomore slump.

Avalanche blow up, trading their core. Hischier/ Patrick becomes the stud who takes over the role that Duchene vacated. Ghostisbhere + Read + Gudas make up Landeskog. Colorado acquire a dman who struggled last year for an experienced winger who struggled last year. Read is there for cap, and Gudas makes up the experience lost between Ghost/ Landy.


Probably a trade that won't happen, but who knows. Valuewise, how is it?

Not to bad although I doubt that is enough to convince Colorado to trade two top 3 picks.

Hmm interesting, as a Flyers fan it's not bad. The issue is a lot of cap going to colarodo, plus I think depending on how much flyers sign Ghost for might go up. I think read gets taken out I realise it's for a cap dump but idk if it's enough.
Ghost can be a #1 D, Nico will be a 1C, and Gudas is a 3/ 4 D.
