Oil: Eberle + Oesterle

Flo: Bjugstad

Or

Oil: Eberle + 2018 1st + Benson

Car: Faulk + 4th

Or

Oil: Eberle

Dal: Anaheim 1st that was given to dallas (high pick)

What's best? Florida I saw some rumblings involving those players. Who knows.
Carolina, Edmonton is overpaying imo. But worth it for Edmonton.
Dallas I was reading could be good fit for Eberle since they've just lost 3 RW this year (Eaves by trade, Hemsky and Sharp UFA) and they also have some good cap space from that.

I can always tell a mcjesus proposal before I even see who it's from. He's about the only person that makes oilers trades that isn't completely biased one way or the other. Always ft4a acting like mediocre players are Wayne Gretzky, or ft4a haters pretending good players are bags of garbage lol.

That being said, I think the Dallas and Carolina ones are possible. And I don't know if the Florida one is close or not. I don't know much about oesterle and am a big believer in Bjugstad, so hard for me to judge it.

Huge no from Carolina Faulk is a star and would get a much better return then Larson.

Oh McJC.
Sorry McJc you're way off.
Florida needs to add to get Eberle. let alone 2 for 1 deal.
Osterle will be needed now that Sekera's out for next season.

Or
Sorry McJc you're way off again.
2018 1st + Eberle + the Oilers best prospect.
No go massive overpay.

Or

Strike 3!
Top 6 winger for a draft pick

organizational suicide

Now we all realize there's bitterness surrounding Eberle, both by the Edmonton fan base ( notorious for pasting goat horns) and the trolls who want him for nothing, but remember. he did what the coach asked him to do, which is be a checker not a scorer and has been in the top of the Oilers scoring for years prior to this year's flop.

What he did this year isn't worth 6 mill. but you have to cut him a break.
If an equal value deal is available. sure consider it. but your choices are severe overpays by the Oilers that are too massive for the organization to consider. This isn't Bobby Ryan who's signed for infinity at a horrendous cap hit. he's signed for only 2 more years, and there's no cap problems next year.

Best bet for Edmonton to just keep him instead of giving him away for scraps PLUS including the few organizational assets currently available to move him along. especially a 2018 1st that could be a top 3 pick overall. ( 2017 first. fine poor draft year)

Well thank you.

And in my opinion oesterle is ready for the NHL just he's buried in our LHD depth. Maybe a better opportunity in Florida? And yeah bjugstad had a bad year, but happens to everyone (just like eberle even tho he put up 50+ points lol) but with all the talk surrounding those players thought I'd put my sense to it.

I agree McJesus is pretty good on his trades more often then others on this page.

As for this trade though, I think the Florida trade is probably close. The Anaheim one is valued I think fairly but I think there other intangibles like cap and expansion draft to consider on that one.

I think the Carolina one this favours Edmonton. Edmonton likely will make the playoffs next year making that pick relatively low, I think Eberle still has value despite his criticism but I don't think Carolina is interested in taking him on. I'm not too familiar with Benson so I can't say how much value he has. I think Carolina declines here especially since D-men are at a premium right now. Don't know what Edmonton would have to offer to get Faulk but it would cost more then what you proposed.

Otherwise I think as an overall you did pretty well.

Fair trade I'm not even going to bother reading what you wrote lol. And VB. Ugh.

Fair trade. You're the one who's always way off. McJc is not. Be more like McJc.

how would anaheim's pick that they traded to dallas be a high first? they're in conference final. it would be 27th or 28th overall at the very earliest. 29th or 30th latest.

Kaner I obviously meant high pick as in 25+. My bad.

As much as you WISH Eberle is going to get let go for peanuts. It ain't happening. Sorry.

Equal value trade, or Edmonton needs to keep him.
