2 Off-season trade for the Habs. (yes I'm aware they haven't played a playoff game yet)

Habs trade:
-Nathan Beaulieu (RFA)
-Nikita Scherbak
-2018/ 2019 2nd
-Zach Fucale

Kings trade:
-Jake Muzzin
-2018 5th

LA gets younger, and faster up front, Kings can use leftover money to help resign Toffoli, Pearson and others. Fucale and a 2nd are to help stock LA's prospect cupboards. Yes I know, Fucale hasn't been impressive and probably doesn't hold a ton of value but with Kings style of play (that may change with sutter gone) I think they could make something out of him. Scherbak should be ready next season.
Habs get an established top 4 Dman. Markov and Weber are declining so Muzzin would be some good reinforcements and an established top 4 LHD with a good contract.

2nd trade, Just for fun, not gunna happen.

I don't like the LA trade.
i'd love to see Tavares, but i'm not sure of NYI will let him go. I think its fair, however, Habs prospect pool is weak. the cupboards bare . We need Sergachev.

Yes Kaner, these make your super biased, big time homer, Landeskog for nothing trade look amazing. You honestly remind me of VB if he was a Hawks fan (not a good thing btw) . And isn't that the guy that posted Draisaitl for Davidson a few days ago? It's difficult too didficult him even semi-seriously.

Also @Sosa would it change your mind at all if Tavares came with an extension of some sort, instead of just uncertainty with UFA status coming up next season? And yeah I agree with you, I don't see the Isles moving Tavares UNLESS, they know for sure he won't resign with them. I don't think no one would blame if he wanted out of Brooklyn honestly.

If Tavares could sign an extension, it would deffinetly be more enticing. but with Price and Patches contracts coming up soon, to go along with the big Weber contract, starts ti worry me about cap issues. Deffinetly would make me think a lot though.
