One or the other, not both. He's a UFA. The rumor is Davidson for Boyle. Pretty fair considering Boyle is an UFA.
But I would love him as third line C on the oilers. With Drake moving to the wing.

Agree with yup. Davidson for Boyle would work. Better for oil if they can keep jones as well and makes for sense for Tampa wanting Davidson over jones.

Boyle would be a good target for Oil if they're making a run. Big C/ LW can play in all situation. Although Caleb Jones alone is probably an overpayment.

Rental rate should be a draft pick not a young player with another year on his term. If Davidson is offered up, a pick or some other asset needs to come from Tampa. No way 2 players go for Boyle rental.

Tampa might have a little adv in attaining another D-man as it's likely they'll have a tender plucked instead of a D man. It's a gamble ol Yzerman has to ponder.
