Vancouver: Tanev and a 2017 1st round pick
Colorado: Duchene

Reasoning is Colorado wants to part ways with Tyson Barrie and Erik Johnson, even if those 2 other names are still there till the offseason, he still becomes their best defensemen on the team. And Vancouver has wanted a top 6 winger for the longest time and dunchene not only could play the wing, but he could also replace Henrik sedin as their first line center.

I think Avs would want more than that.

Man, as a Nucks fan if we move our 1st for Duchene I'd actually be crushed. I know the Canucks are actually doing semi decent but look at their road record. the Nucks will come down to earth and pick in the top 10.

Avs will want more and how do you know they don't want Barrie and Johnson? Seems dumb to announce they want rid of two good Dmen in their 20s. Hard to replace and even if they want to move on, telling people that publicly really hurts your position in negotiating. I know Canucks fans think tanev is Jesus on this site but you think getting tanev Makes up for losing Johnson and Barrie? Plus lose duchene in the process? Sakic would never have a job again beside shaking hands at an alumni dinner

I don't get why they drafted Juolevi. Segachev and Chyrun are way better

BJ. I think Duchene would be better than a top 10 pick in this years draft . I see what your saying, I jus think he might be a good peice to help the transition from the Sedin era. as its coming to a close. Now if this was last years draft, i'd keep the pick.

Weak draft this year so losing a 1st is actually a smart move

My friend who played against Juolevi in the men cup said he was the softest player he's ever played against lol
