===================

Oilers really need that right-handed PP d-man. The Avalanche already have their right-handed top d-man in Erik Johnson.

We've seen how much d-men go for in the Taylor Hall trade.

Tyson Barrie could reach his full potential in Edmonton since he would get a lot of playing time.

The Avalanche get a physical d-man who is on the rise and can step up next year to be a top 4.

2017 pick is the 50/ 50 situation. The Oilers could make the playoffs and the pick could be mid-round in a weak draft. Or the Oilers could fail to make the playoffs again and have a chance at the top 3 pick since the draft lottery rules have changed.

Thats to much for Barrie.
I think Nurse is developing into a good all around dman. he's so young. it would be a shame to get rid if him so early into his career.
Then a first and possibly Russel. that's jus wat to much.
Maybe i'm somewhat biased. i'm not a huge fan of Barrie. I think he's ok. but not great defensively. I believe Nurse will be better in a year or 2.

Chia isn't giving up nurse for anybody at this point (and I agree with him) . Also a first and Russell mighteven be to much.
