Not sure why anyone would be suggesting any Oiler trades with the team continuity that's going on unless they now see the value in the players and wish to fleece Edmonton, or are afraid and want Edmonton to do something to lose that team continuity shown in the first few games.

FairTrade, I agree things are going well for the oilers and good for them, it's about time. I also agree they don't need to make a trade right now, but they have been consistently 28-30th for years. To suggest that other teams are afraid of them and strategizing trades, not to make their own team better, but to solely mess with the oilers chemistry is laughable. Slow it down a bit, it's October.

That's like leaf fans saying the Calder votes will be Matthews, nylander, laine and then marner. Great start for those kids and good for the leafs fans to get something to cheer about, they need it, but it's 7 or 8 games.
