Winnipeg Jets trade: D Jacob Trouba

To the Detroit Red Wings for : D Danny Dekeyser

Reasoning: it's become clear trouba wants too much money and responsibility to play on the jets. This trade fills both teams' needs by giving Winnipeg a great young left handed d while providing Detroit with a much needed righty. Also makes trouba closer to home. This is just a basis I'm not sure what other pieces would have to be added but let me know your thoughts.

Wings add. I personally think Dekeysers contract will bite them in the ass. Lot of term and dollar being committed to a guy who may just end up being an average #3/ 4 Defender.

Trouba has more value than Dekyser. I personally would say a lot more value too. But it's more for sure.

Completly agree with BJ, Danny Dekeyser is nothing more than a #3, and is making close to a million more than he should be. He doesn't provide much offensively and is a pretty average defender. I personally think Holland needs to step down because pf these kind of mistakes.

Dekeyser at $5.5 mil is too much for the Jets to pay him. They would use the money to sign Trouba. If Trouba sits out it will be for a long time, but I think his lack of play for team NA will help the Jets. His agent Overhardt will try and force the Jets as he did with Dubinsky, Turris and Johansen teams which led to their trades.
