Leafs Trade
Lupul
Corrado

Girardi has been tied to Toronto all summer.
Rangers trying to unload Girardi.
Leafs trying to unload Lupul.
With Girardi being the more useful of the 2 the Leafs have to include Corrado.

Thoughts?

Stop with the Girardi to Toronto deals.


Girardi is terrible possesion-wise and also has 275K more on his deal with 2 more years on it.

Meanwhile, trading a useless oft-injured cap dump and some depth defenceman isn't going to entice the Rangers.

Stupid trade; just stop with the Girardi trades.

Isn't Girardi signed through 19/ 20? I don't think the rebuilding Leafs want to be saddled with that. They would like a veteran but the contract is just too awful.

You've posted this trade approximately 8-12 times this summer. Each time you get showered on by negative comments, and an ungodly amount of ridicule, yet, somewhere deep in your head, you ignore these criticisms and continue posting the same garbage.

Congratulations, Pinhead. This trade will not happen. Girardi hasn't nor will he ever be tied to the leafs. He is a below average defender on the back end of his career with an anchor of a contract. In what universe do you see Toronto making a move to get him?

Not bad I posted something similar, my thought was dump Lupal at any cost in return you get a serviceable d-man expensive yes but money was spent anyway and heaven for bid we make the playoffs and have a vet who's been there before in the locker room. Plus expose him to the expansion draft and hope and pray.

Thanx CouchGM78 at least you see my logic in trading Lupul for Girardi as he would be exposed in the EDraft and yes Vegas would probably take him and probably make him there Captain.
All Expansion Teams pick a Vet Player to lead the way, Girardi is that type of Player.

Expansion team is not taking girardi. Better hope of just exposing lupul. And if he's not taken, you have one more year of him instead of 3 more of girardi after the draft. It's not a cap dump if you take back someone making more for longer term lol.
