I wish oil could get duchene.

Big No from Colorado. Giving up the best player and taking 2 busts and a good young center who can't stay healthy would be great for Edmonton but terrible for Colorado. Take Yak and Reinhart out. Put in Klefbom and there may be a discussion. As we saw with the Hall deal, the Oiler fans hold a very unrealistic opinion of the value of their players.

No from Oilers for sure.

Huge no from college

Duchene>>>rnh
Johndon>>>reinhart
Yakapov - negative to little value at this point.

Colorado doesn't do it because they move their best dman and forward and don't get a top dman or anything close. The value isn't that far off, but doesnt' address any of the Avs needs.
@Colt, Saying Yak has negative value is just stupid. He has 1 year left at 2.5 mil, stated he has no intention of going to Russia. He is 3rd in his draft class (a weak one I know) in points, and was draft 1st overall 4 years ago. Sure he doesn't have the value of other 1st overall picks, but by no means does he have none to negative value. Just making yourself look stupid for no reason.

Please stop being an annoying idiot troll Colt. Thanks.

How does Yak have negative value? Lol and also Borje it's not just Edmonton fans that think Hall should have gotten more and I don't think this guy is an Oil fan. But I agree with everyone, easy no from COL.

Explain how yAK has value. He has never scored 20 goals, he has never scored more than 33 points. He has only broken 15 goals once. Just because he was 1st overall doesn't make him special. You call me stupid but every oiler fan puts him in a trade like he is worth something when in reality. He may be worth a 3rd or 4th. After 4 years he has proven nothing. Excuses ass side if you want value for him put him in a position to sucede with mcdavid and lucic on a line then hope he turns it around. Then if he has a career year with a good line and good coach then he has trade value but to say he has good value now us asinine.

I'd say No thank you from the Oilers.
Duchene is hurt too often.
Johnson's contract is a bit rich for what he provides.

Oilers would lose Klefbom if they got Johnson this year in the expansion draft. Not an acceptable asset loss for nothing.

RNH Has a lot of term on his contract and will end up being better than Duchene sooner rather than later.

Edmonton does not own a 2017 2nd round pick.

Oilers roster is just fine the way it is for this year. Trades if necessary should be executed AFTER June 20th 2017.

So, No need to tinker with it currently.

I have to agree with Colt. Oiler fans still seem to think Yak holds some significant value and he doesn't. His play has been uninspiring and he asked for a trad of that. Duchene and Johnson are Premier players; a 1st line C and a #1 D. Klefbom would have to go the the other way as COL wouldn't want to further weaken their D without at least thinking they get a good young D that may be better than Johnson in another year or so.

Duchene is better than Nuge, but Johnson is not a #1 dman what are you saying. Maybe on Colorado, if that's what you meant, but in reality he's a #3 dman maybe 2 if we're being generous. You guys literally have no brain if you think yak is worth a 3-4th round. Chiarelli said on live tv Yak never asked him for a trade, and he's not going to just give him away for nothing. He's 22 years old and has been playing 3rd line minutes his whole career. i'm not saying Yak has "significant" value like you say "oilers fans" say, because he Doesn't, but he has more than negative value and that's just talking out your ass if you think he has no value. Stop being stupid or stop all the hate. I don't even like yak but you're retarded if you think he's worth a 4th round pick.

christ your taking this personal, I told you what would need to be done for him to get value. Untill he proves he better than a third liner and can get more than 15 goals and 30 points he may have value. But with his one way play and low performance he isn't worth 2.5 mil. or worth someone losing their #1 dman or #1 center for he just doesn't add value to the trade. RNH adds value But he is not better than Duchene, then you add reinhart and yakapov who haven't prove a dam thing yet. This prop is a joke. Eric johnson is a top pairing defenseman and he would be your number one on edm.

Mcjessus I think your over valuing your players like when you said hall was eqi a l value to petro but in fact he is equal value to Larson lol. I had too couldn't help myself. seriously though yak isn't worth much and he did ask for a trade pre chirelli.

Actually McJesus was pretty fair with what he said. You literally repeated him by saying Duchene is better. Yak obviously doesn't have negative value he just hasn't proven enough to get a good return. Doesn't mean he'll be given away. But the main point is no Oiler fan aside from maybe k99 thinks this is believable!
