If larsen can land Hall.

Vancouver:

Edler

Edmonton:

RNH

. Edler would pair nicely with Larssen on the top pairing and could quarterback their pp

edler-larsen
sekera-nurse.

RNH would give the canucks a solid 1-2 punch with horvat once the sedins retire.

Get out of here man. Ever heard of Klefbom?

The fact that you didn't even include Klefbom in your top 4 just shows that you don't know a thing about the Oilers and are probably a Nucks fan.

This is so bad on so many levels haha.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
RNH. a #1 Center on most teams Canucks included. Great 2 way Future Selke winner. Young #1 overall pick that hasn't reached his prime yet. still long term signed. for Edler? OMG that's hilarious.
That's the most ridiculous trade I've ever seen or heard of.
Please. my tummy is hurting from laughing so hard.

RNH for Edler. LOLOL.

There isn't a player on the Current Canucks roster that's worth RNH.

How If Nucks can get burnt with a prized prospect for Gudbranson. Oilers counter with Anton Lander for Edler instead ( After June 20th expansion draft. )
He'll do great centering the Sedin's.

lolol. RNH for Edler.

Making some pretty bold statements about RNH k99. I doubt he would even be considered the best center of the roster on over half the teams in the NHL.

09 Aug 2016 23:08:21
RNH a number 1 center? Lol. 5 years in the league, 1-20 goal season and still gets knocked around all over the ice. Very overrated by Oiler fans.

Easy there K99, let's not forget this :
09 Aug 2016 15:15:24
Edm
Tyler Pitlik
David Musil Left D

Arizona
Jacob Chychurn Right D
6th round.

It's safe to say he's an Oilers homer who doesn't care about other teams needs and clearly just all around lacking general hockey knowledge.

If edler was in his prime good deal. But he's to old and not good enough now.

10.) 10 Aug 2016
10 Aug 2016 02:34:23
Terrible trade for the oilers but yes, RNH is overrated by most oilers fans, but mostly K99 lol not the best centre on 75-80% of the teams in the league.

Charles / Borje
Anyone that doesn't think RNH is a #1 center doesn't watch very many Oiler games or is simply a biased Oilers hater. I kindly suggest that you go watch a game and stop using your playstation / scoresheets to evaluate players. Watch team North America at the up and coming world championships. You may finally see what he does for the team that doesn't show up on the scoresheet. He has played all his career against the other team's Top lines and has held his own against division rivals Getzlaf, Kopitar, Thornton.
Not many wouldn't get knocked around by those guys if it came to a physical game. His game is not to bash those guys off the puck. His game is skating, backchecking, shooting, and passing.

RNH would be the #1 Center on Van without a question. He'd be the #1 on almost half the teams in the NHL. You can try to undervalue him as much as you like, but he is a primo 2 way center that plays all situations and is dynamite in OT. Too many teams want him for nothing ( in this instance a non impact average Dman in Edler) .
Oilers and their fans and anyone that actually watches real hockey and doesn't just look at points will understand that what he brings to the team that isn't measured on the scoresheet.

BJ96
Chychurn isn't playing in the NHL for at least 2-3 years where as Pitlik is older, more mature and developed and ready to play this year. He needs a change of scenery as he just can't manage to crack the deep oilers forward roster. Musil is further along in development than Chychurn is and could play sooner. Agree, He's more of a longshot for sure, but maybe his style of play suits Arizona.? If Arizona doesn't like him. Sub in another D prospect like Simpson, Caleb Jones, etc if desired. Both players COULD excel on a different team, especially one that has a roster spot open like Arizona. There are merits for Arizona with the trade if they want a better team right now as compared to 2-3 years down the road if/ when Chychurn becomes NHL worthy. See. there is merit on both ends to this trade.

Edler for RNH. lolololol. Tummy still hurts thinking about that ridiculous trade. RNH for any current Canucks rostered player. NOT!

Unbiased Jim.
RNH would be the #1 on Van, Arizona ( unless Datzyk magically comes outta retirement) , Winnipeg, Montreal, Carolina, Minnesota, Colorado, St Louis ( only caz Stastny is hurt too often) , Columbus, Jersey, Philly, Nashville. So the actual math is 12/ 30 teams = 40% of the teams currently RNH would be the #1. So not half. but not 25% either.

I can see Edler playing in Edmonton, but definitely not for RNH. Maybe Yakupov or Reinhart ++ or something like that.

Top 6 lines:

Klefbom - Larsson
Sekera - Edler
Nurse/ Davidson - Fayne.

@k99

It seems you don't watch many teams. Schiefele and Little are both arguably better than RNH which means Wpg doesn't fit your list. Nashville has RJo who is equivalent or arguably better with more upside imo which means Nashville is out. Colorado has Mackinnon and Duchene, Duchene is for sure better so Colorado is out. Going based on skill currently I'd still rather have Sedin. Giroux better than RNH. You could even make a case for Galchenyuk over RNH. Don't get me wrong I like RNH, but he is not a top center on many teams, more of a great number 2.

So realistically imo you have maybe Arizona, Carolina, Minnesota, St. Louis, Columbus and Jersey so 6/ 30 = 20%.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I see it.

wpgjets
I wholeheartedly disagree that Winnipeg's centers are better than RNH. Johansen from Nashville is more of a physical player than RNH, not a bad center, but RNH brings a lot more offence and plays PP PK more effectively than him. Mackinnon I missed on Colorado, I though he was a winger. I'd say their pretty equal in talent when everything is weighed in, but due to Nate's size I'll give you that one. Giroux is a winger, Sedins WERE better in their prime but are not first liners anymore. Worth too much for what they contribute. Galchenyk is a winger and attempts are to move him to center now. He has not played against other teams top lines yet as a center. I suspect his #'s will go down if he has to go head to head at center with Crosby, Ovi, Stammer coming at him most shifts.

So new math. 11/ 30 teams = 36%

Agree on a good #2 punch for a lot of teams for sure. If he could get out of the Big pacific division and be a #2 his career stats would greatly improve.

10 Aug 2016 18:23:08
K99 I think you should watch more hockey, not just the oilers. Giroux is not a winger, Duchene and Mackinnon are both probably better and Johansen maybe too.
Wpgjets please don't ever say that Little is better than RNH. Is Bozak better too cause he has very similar stats, age, kills penalties and wins draws? The answer is no. Little is very over rated on this site, along with Trouba.

16.) 10 Aug 2016
10 Aug 2016 19:01:13
K99 quit being so Oiler biased. RNH isn't close to being better than Schiefele (71 games 29 goals 32 assists) or Little (57 games 17 goals 25 assists) . Look at last years stats. RNH (55 games, 12 goals 22 assists) is timid and plays a soft perimeter game. Even playing with good players like Hall and Eberle he still could produce decent numbers or make his linemates much better. Just because Ed wasted a # 1 over all pick on him doesn't make him great or valuable in a trade. He is a #3 center on ED. If he is so valuable to Ed why is he always being trolled for ridiculous trades?

17.) 10 Aug 2016
10 Aug 2016 19:43:48
Well I think almost any objective person on here can agree that scheifele is better than rnh. As for people saying I am over valuing little, I said he is arguably better than rnh. Little is a consistent 60 point producer, good on draws and sound defensively. His contract is better than rnh if you want to compare that as well. The only thing imo that rnh has going for himself over little at this moment is his age and the fact he has room to improve whereas little is in his prime. If I'm going based on current play I take little 10/ 10 times. Maybe a bit of a homer bias but I'm not sure how people can say little is overrated when they say things like rnh is currently a number one centre.

18.) 10 Aug 2016
10 Aug 2016 20:39:02
Scheifele had a good season. RNH has been putting up a consistent 55 points for years now. He's labeled soft but he missed games this year because of a broken hand on a bad blocked shot and then a few from a hit to the head. K99 your making Oil fans look kinda bad hear. Lots of those teams have centers better than RNH.
