Seems more likely they would acquire Varlamov on his own, then trade down in the process.

Calgary would kill 2 birds with one stone basically
Flames get a good goalie and they get to a spot to draft keller.

Calgary won't be trading their 6th pick for any goalie. They're better off taking Nylander and waiting for the open market.

Nobody will be trading their pick from 1-6 unless it's a completely outrageous offer that they can't refuse. What they would be giving up for no reason at all is too costly. They only way Edmonton gives up selecting Tkachuk is if someone offers them one of the very best D men in the league for him as well as whatever their first round pick is Edmonton is in the drivers seat

Same with Columbus and Vancouver. the only way you give up puljujarvi is if you get a top 5 forward in the league plus that teams first round pick. It's just not happening. You people need to be more realistic with your trades. Fleury bishop varlemov not one of these goalies are worth 6 over all pick. Calgary isn't the team that may lose these goalies. They can wait.

And by the way Reimer would be the best choice moving forward. He's the least expensive and of all goalies that played over 1500 minutes last season he was the best 5 on 5 .940 goals against average. Do the research people then you might understand.

Why would we 6th overall pick for a goalie who is constantly injured and only had one good season in the league. This is a goalie that we'd be able to get for nothing the moment Colorado finds a new young talent. The only thing this goalies has going for him is his name. varlemov. it's a good name for a goalie. but. nice try.
