a mid to low first round draft pick and a fringe prospect in Leivo is not going to get Drouin. If Yzerman trades him he is not going to be asking for picks or prospects, he's going to ask a player that is more established and has a potential similar to Drouin.

Paolozza Drouin has 40 points in 89 games playing limited minutes on the 4th line. This he has done nothing in the nhl is overstated not to mention he's dominated the AHL since returning. A late first and nothing prospect won't get him whether you want to admit it or not.

Paolozza did I not say since he returned? Where he has 5 goals and 6 points in 6 games and has had the opportunity for more where his players don't finish or he gets robbed. I get it you don't like the guy. That doesn't make him worthless and he's proving when given an opportunity and puts the effort in he can dominate even after a month away from the game. And you know +/ - is a useless stat if the team sucks even good players are a minus because of the others on the ice.

Hahah leivo a nothing prospect? Priceless hahaha leivo is a solid b prospect and has the potential to impact at the nhl level maybe third liner solid numbers is the ahl better than Drouin so far and that first is not a useless pick either so this isn't a horrible trade.

Leafland a prospect that may become a third liner isn't great. Tampa has lots of those most teams do. Drouin has elite talent. And a first I never useless but this draft is fairly top heavy. May not be anything all that special left by the end of the first maybe another 4th liner PK guy like Gauthier.

Character issues are overrated especially since he seems to realize his mistake and is a high talent player. Lots of stars have a lot of issues you don't even hear about. Even Kassian got traded.

No I used him as an example that even someone on league mandated suspensions for substance abuse can be traded. Even with character issues someone took him on and he was barely an nhler to begin wirh.
