Toronto: Matt Murray----OR-----2016 2nd round pick

Pittsburgh: Roman Polak

Polak is just what PITS needs for their playoff push and will undoubtedly help them into the later rounds of the playoffs with his reliable and physical play.

Toronto needs a goalie for the future. The way I see it, is that Toronto could acquire Murray, a seemingly solid goalie putting up good numbers in the AHL and is still very young.

OR

If PITS doesn't want to surrender Murray, Toronto uses the 2nd round pick to draft (G) Carter Hart (the number 1 ranked Goalie in the draft)

Either way, Jimmy and Berns aren't cutting it for TO and we are in dire need of some decent goaltending for the future.

Matt Murray is untouchable.

Polak is a good d but I do not think he would garner one of pitts good goaltending prospects with a one for one deal.

I don't see Penguins moving their goalie of the future in Murray and can't see him being moved for just 1 half season with Polak.

I'm a leaf fan. I would love this move but I doubt pit trades their goalie of the future for a rental 3rd line defenseman. Leafs add and it's a deal!

We don't need Polak he is a terrible defenseman, basically a physical Scuderi. Murray is also untouchable, he will be our starter in the next few years. If Murray ever gets traded it won't be for a terrible rental player..

Polak is not terrible, he will be traded before the deadline to a contending team. Wouldn't happen if he didn't have value.
