i would pull the trigger on that one for sure as a leafs fan. one of the more realiztic kessel trades i've seen

I like wisnewski but I still think Anaheim could add a little more only reason is that wisnewski is still good but the leafs would be doing Anaheim a very big favor by taking him back as cap relief and yes I know they have lots of cap space right now but Kesler still needs to be resigned so how bout this and yes it may seem off but if it is let me know what you would change about it


Kessel + Reimer + 24th ovr

Nick Ritchie + James wisnewski + 1st 2015 + John Gibson

Look at it this way

Leafs get basically same trade but adding the 24th and Reimer but gain Gibson in the deal who would become our franchise goalie

Anaheim benefits by moving up a little in the draft, they get a decent backup who has shown that he could come in and be a half decent 1b goalie and they move up a couple slots

Win win for everyone because realistically anderson has proved that he is the better choice in net right now! And Gibson has world class talent and it's being wasted by being a backup why not clean up shop and get some good pieces moving forward
