The inclusion of back-and-forth cap-dumps is pretty ridiculous. A base of Eberle for Jones+ is even more unreasonable. Eberle simply isn't that caliber of player. Nsh would not trade Jones for anything short of Hall or RNH, nor should they. Noone is going to do Edm any favors just because they're Edm.

Yakattack Because right now I'd consider Jones quite a bit more valuable than Eberle. I'd imagine many NHL GMs would feel similarly. Nsh would not add anything and the cap dumps are unnecessary.

Sure Nsh might trade Defense for Offense, they won't blatantly lose a bad trade in a position of little need. Jones will likely cost a similarly valuable C (RNH) in which case Nsh might add (slightly--i.e. late pick).

SMH to posts by oilers fan. green is an older and more experienced Justin Schultz. even with mcdavid I don't think u guys would even win a playoff series with both green and Schultz in your top 4. Try to sign Cody franson instead because Jones isn't going anywhere, the kid will be top 10Dman in the league in two years
