Reason: Ference's contract is terrible, and he is playing pretty bad. He is a great captain but not a good player. I think CBJ need some leadership on their defense.

To Washington: Mike Green

Gormley is NOT happy with playing in the AHL. And is looking for teams that can give him a chance to play.

Might be an overpayment, but for a defenseman that is playing terrible (JSchultz) and with one year on his contract. Phily gets a good pick

come up and prove themselves.

If your original post suggested Ference's value was future considerations do you really think he'd be a key piece in a trade for the Caps most valuable tradable asset. Stop kidding yourself and stop proposing trades for Green with no value to Wsh.
