Reasons I feel this helps both clubs

Dallas adds a defensive dman who has playoff experience and a winger with a good cap hit who plays well on both wings and could possibly play in their top six. Makes them a better club immediately.

Chicago dumps salary, gets a decent checking center, and opens up a spot on RW so Shaw can go back to his natural position, opens spot and 2nd D pairing so Leddy can get more minutes, and get a good prospect.

Solid idea. I see the potential for this to happen. I have seen these names bouncing around the rumour mill too.

I could see ritchie going to the ducks. But i'm not sure why.
