So Detroit is in the market for a right handed Defensman still and Washington is looking to move Green's salary off the books. So here's and interesting proposal.

Detroit:
Brian Lashoff
3rd round pick

Washington:
Mike Green

Washington rids Green's $6. 08 salary with only. 725 coming back. Gives Washington cap to sign or trade for another top 6 forward. For Detroit they get a very good puck mover and pp specialist, which in my opinion they need pretty badly.
